Singer and actor Jang Ki-ha humorously shared his thoughts on participating in the movie "Virus."
On the morning of the 16th, at the production report conference for the movie "Virus" (directed by Kang Yi-kwan) held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, Jang said, "I played the character 'Yeon-woo,' a car dealer. Since I don't have much acting experience, I think they cast me because I could relate to the character rather than it being too far from who I am."
'Yeon-woo' is a car dealer and a former elementary school classmate of Taek-seon (played by Bae Doo-na). He becomes the first contact of Taek-seon while trying to sell some cars and suddenly finds himself suspected of being infected with the Toxso virus.
He mentioned, "In reality, my personality is quite similar to Yeon-woo's. I live a peaceful life, and then I meet Taek-seon and suddenly get caught up in absurd situations. If it were my actual situation, I would feel wronged," adding, "I felt wronged even while acting," which brought laughter.
"Virus" tells the unexpected journey of Taek-seon (Bae Doo-na), who is infected with a 100% fatal virus that makes people fall in love for no reason, along with three men: the single researcher Supil (Son Seok-koo), his long-time classmate Yeon-woo (Jang Ki-ha), and the only expert who can create a cure, Lee Kyun (Kim Yoon-seok).
It will be released on May 7th.
