The legend of rock comes back to life on the screen.
CGV announced on the 19th that it will exclusively release the film 'Imagine Dragons: Live From The Hollywood Bowl (with the LA Film Orchestra)', featuring the performance of the Grammy-winning rock band 'Imagine Dragons' from 2014, on the 26th.
This film captures the one-time special performance held last fall at the Hollywood Bowl, an outdoor music venue in Los Angeles, where 'Imagine Dragons' collaborated with the LA Film Orchestra.
The intense rock sound and the overwhelming sound of a grand orchestra with over 50 performers will deliver a perfect harmony. Viewers can also enjoy the symphonic arrangements of 'Radioactive', 'Demons', 'Believer', and other representative songs of Imagine Dragons.
‘Imagine Dragons: Live From The Hollywood Bowl’ will be available in special technology theaters such as 3D and 4D SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX.
In the 3D and 4D SCREENX, the grand atmosphere of the concert hall and the passionate expressions of fans enjoying the performance will be fully captured, allowing theater audiences to feel as if they are right in the middle of the outdoor concert venue. The use of LED screen effects will vividly convey the artist's unique emotions, and the stunning visuals combined with the orchestra are expected to leave a strong impression that only the SCREENX format can provide.
In 4DX, the shaking effects will allow audiences to physically experience the live performance of the band and orchestra. The various motions that unfold in sync with the music are expected to enhance immersion by recreating the atmosphere of the actual concert venue. Various environmental effects such as 'Wind', 'Lightning', 'Scents', and 'Snow' that replicate the atmosphere of the actual concert will further draw the audience into the film.
‘Imagine Dragons: Live From The Hollywood Bowl’ will be available in 18 theaters nationwide, including CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall. The running time is 129 minutes.
