Hong Ja and Park Kwang-jae, Hwangbo and Song Byeong-cheol have become the final couples of 'Old Relationship Pursuit' Season 3.
On the 1st, 'Old Relationship Pursuit' (hereafter 'Omanchu'), which ended simultaneously on KBS Joy, KBS2, and GTV, depicted the final choices of the Season 3 relationship journey. Unlike Season 2, where no couple was formed, this Season 3 saw the formation of two couples, drawing attention.
Park Kwang-jae expressed deep regret for not being able to fully express his feelings during his participation in Season 2. He lamented his lack of honesty in his choices, stating, "I tried not to have regrets in Season 3." Park Kwang-jae lit the candle of connection towards Hong Ja, confessing, "I liked her from the first impression, and there was not a single part I disliked."
Hong Ja responded by choosing Park Kwang-jae, stating, "I felt comfortable when we were together, and time seemed to fly," revealing that she was attracted to him from the beginning.
Song Byeong-cheol mentioned that he was looking for someone to share hobbies with through 'Omanchu'. He chose Hwangbo, explaining, "I felt comfortable when we talked, and I think there will be many fun things to do together."
Hwangbo was torn between the excitement she felt with Song Byeong-cheol and the gradual connection with Lee Gyu-han. Ultimately, Hwangbo chose Song Byeong-cheol, emphasizing, "I believe we should not forget the feelings from our first meeting. The person I want to get to know more is Byeong-cheol."

On the other hand, unexpected decisions followed. Lee Gyu-han, who was chosen by Solbi, did not light the candle of connection. He stated, "I entered 'Omanchu' with an empty space in my heart, but the Season 3 members filled that emptiness." Lee Gyu-han explained that he did not want to cause unnecessary hurt to the members due to his choice, saying, "I want to protect my friends."
Although Ikyeon did not light a candle, he opened up about his feelings for Hong Ja. He confessed, "The date that made me excited and nervous was the one with Hong Ja." However, as Park Kwang-jae and Hong Ja became a couple before his choice, Ikyeon gave up on the final selection.
In contrast, Jang So-yeon lit her candle despite Park Kwang-jae being connected with Hong Ja. Jang So-yeon expressed her desire to continue a friendship with Park Kwang-jae, saying, "Becoming friends is also very meaningful to me."
The after-dates of the couples Hong Ja and Park Kwang-jae, Hwangbo and Song Byeong-cheol were also revealed. Park Kwang-jae visited the theater where Hong Ja was performing in a trot musical. He went to Hong Ja's waiting room to deliver a bouquet and gifts, cheering her on.
After the performance, the two met again at a 'famous place' for pork belly, where Park Kwang-jae expressed his affection, saying, "I only saw Hong Ja in my eyes." He also sweetly mentioned wanting to visit Hong Ja's favorite place, Dongmyo, and offered to be her manager, bringing smiles to viewers.
Hwangbo and Song Byeong-cheol enjoyed a date at an indoor fishing site. The chemistry between veteran fisherman Song Byeong-cheol and fishing novice Hwangbo made viewers smile, and Hwangbo, who was deeply immersed in the thrilling experience, naturally attempted a 'couple skit' by saying, "Oppa, let's do this again next week," eliciting laughter. After finishing fishing, the two took instant photos to create memories and promised to meet again for their next date, showing the potential to develop into a 'real couple.'
Meanwhile, 'Omanchu' is a dating reality program where single celebrities, who seemed like nothing would happen even if they were stranded on a deserted island, reflect on past connections that passed by in their daily lives and seek out the true connections they were unaware of, receiving love from the public from Season 1 to Season 3.
