On the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Hong Kong star the late Leslie Cheung, audiences will be able to experience the eternal youth of Leslie Cheung through the remastered versions of 'Youth of the Flames' and 'The Three Swordsmen', which will be released on the 31st.

'Youth of the Flames Remastered' (Directed by Tam Ka-Ming) is set in 1980s Hong Kong and depicts the free love and friendship of four characters: the wealthy young man Louis (Leslie Cheung), who always longs for his mother, his lover Tomato (Yip Tung), Louis's cousin Cathy (Ha Mun-Suk), and her lover Ah Pong (Tang Chin-Yap). 'Youth of the Flames', nominated in eight categories at the 2nd Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Film Awards, received high praise for its sophisticated direction and stylish mise-en-scène.

The main poster released on this day captures the bold romance of youth in vibrant colors, raising expectations, and the youthful face of Leslie Cheung in the poster embodies 'youth' itself, promising precious moments for audiences who miss him.

'The Three Swordsmen Remastered' (Directed by Tsui Hark) features Leslie Cheung as a young priest who vows to dedicate everything to God, showcasing a different charm. The priest, Guo Chang (Leslie Cheung), helps Bai Xuehua (Yuan Yingyi), who is being pursued by a loan shark, leading to various incidents as a detective (Yau Cheung-Wun) chases after them, providing unique entertainment with colorful visuals and lively characters. The main poster released showcases the three characters displaying their diverse charms, adorned with symbolic props such as a cross, a rose, and a cigarette, adding to the intrigue.

The remastered versions of 'Youth of the Flames' and 'The Three Swordsmen', commemorating the legendary youth star Leslie Cheung, will be released exclusively at Megabox on the 31st.

Leslie Cheung debuted as a singer through a Hong Kong music contest in 1976 and rose to stardom as an actor with the film 'A Better Tomorrow' in 1986. He was a leading star during the golden age of Hong Kong cinema in the 1980s and 1990s, appearing in numerous hits such as 'A Chinese Ghost Story', 'Farewell My Concubine', 'Happy Together', and many others, gaining immense popularity across Asia, including Korea.

However, Leslie Cheung tragically fell to his death on April 1, 2003, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong, shocking fans worldwide. He was 47 years old at the time. His death was concluded to be a suicide due to depression, but various suspicions, including murder theories, have been raised. Since his passing, memorial events have been held annually in Hong Kong and other places on the anniversary of his death.
