Kieran Culkin from 'Real Pain' has embraced his first Oscar trophy.
On March 3 (Korean time), at the 97th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, LA, Kieran Culkin won the Best Supporting Actor award for the film 'Real Pain'.
Kieran Culkin expressed his gratitude to his manager of 30 years, director Jesse Eisenberg, and his wife, Jazz.
He also drew attention by saying to his wife, "Thank you to my wife who has given everything to the people I love the most in the world. I promised to have a fourth child if I won the Oscar. Remember, honey? Don't feel pressured, I love you."
Kieran Culkin has now added the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor to his accolades, which include the Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, British Academy, and Screen Actors Guild awards for 'Real Pain'. He is also the brother of Macaulay Culkin, famous for 'Home Alone'.
'Real Pain' is a film that captures the laughter and emotion experienced during a trip to Poland by two cousins, David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin), who have opposite personalities, as they honor their grandmother's death. Kieran Culkin delicately portrayed the wounded inner self behind Benji's free-spirited and playful demeanor.
