Actress Kim Hye-soo expressed her condolences and paid tribute to the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
On the 30th, Kim Hye-soo posted a photo conveying her condolences on her SNS. She did not include any additional comments.
The photo features a black background with a white chrysanthemum illustration and the text, “We mourn the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident. We express our deep condolences and mourning.”
Earlier, on the morning of the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane carrying 181 passengers collided with the outer wall of the runway during landing, resulting in a fire that led to the deaths of 179 people and injuries to 2 others. Among the 175 passengers, 173 were confirmed to be Korean, while the remaining 2 were Thai.
The government has designated a week of national mourning until January 4 of next year.
