Actress Kim Go-eun has won the Best Actress award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

On the evening of the 29th at 8:30 PM, Kim Go-eun received the Best Actress trophy for her role in the film 'The Burial' at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Kim Go-eun expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am so thankful. My mind is blank. I am very grateful to director Jang Jae-hyun for trusting me with the role of Harim. I was very happy and had a great time acting."

She continued, "It was an honor to be with my seniors Choi Min-sik and Yoo Hae-jin on set, and to Lee Do-hyun who is currently in the military. We shared many laughs on set. I think these happy memories will last a long time," adding, "The staff worked very hard in the cold winter in the mountains. I want to share this honor with them."

Kim Go-eun reflected, "Coming to the Blue Dragon Film Awards reminds me of when I received the Best New Actress award. I am also grateful to director Jung Ji-woo for introducing me as an actress and for watching over me with affection and concern, which helped me grow."

She added, "I love acting so much. There are difficult and challenging moments, but the joy is immense. I am grateful every day to have the profession of an actress. I will continue to be an actress with gratitude and will act with a thankful heart."

Following Kim Hye-soo, who stepped down from the hosting position last year as the "Woman of the Blue Dragon," this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards were hosted by actors Lee Je-hoon and Han Ji-min. The nominees for Best Picture included 'Veteran 2', 'Spring in Seoul', 'The Burial', 'Fast Lives', and 'Handsome Guys'.
