Lee Hyun-yi, a broadcaster active in 'Goal Diggers', has suffered an injury resulting in a nasal bone fracture.
On the 16th, Lee Hyun-yi posted on SNS, “I fractured my nasal bone during a soccer match due to my eagerness.” The accompanying photo shows Lee with a cast on her nose in a hospital room.
She added, “I am taking a break from soccer and doing various things I couldn't do before,” and “Fortunately, I am recovering well and have returned to my old nose.”
She also mentioned, “My first cast in life,” explaining, “I couldn’t breathe through my nose, so I had to keep moistening my mouth with spray for a few days,” evoking sympathy.
Lee Hyun-yi is currently the captain of FC Gucheokjangsin in the SBS entertainment program 'Goal Diggers'.
As soccer is a sport that involves physical contact, injuries have been frequent. In August, she revealed on her YouTube channel 'Sister-in-law is K.Will' that she had lost her toenails four times while playing soccer, stating, “SBS provides industrial accident compensation. Since many people get injured, a system has been established.”
