Actress Son Tae-young has spoken out about rumors and malicious comments.
On the 11th, a video titled “Show-window couple? The shocking identity of the malicious commenters who have followed Son Tae-young for 10 years” was uploaded to Son Tae-young's YouTube channel ‘Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young’.
The video features Son Tae-young having a conversation with an acquaintance. Son Tae-young said, “It has been exactly 2 years since I started YouTube. My son’s school friends know that I am a YouTuber. They call me ‘YouTuber mom’.”
In response, Son Tae-young's acquaintance said, “Honestly, when a video goes up, I search for you. Very occasionally, there are stories about your husband. Recently, someone said they saw (the rumors). Since you are a ‘goose father’, they wrote something like that.”
They continued, “When I look at the comments, the IP addresses are the same. They post and write the malicious rumors themselves.”

In response, Son Tae-young said, “Whenever I see rumors about celebrities, they say ‘I know someone who knows them’. I have a few acquaintances here. Who would speak ill of me? My acquaintances are set. There aren’t many. Who would do that?” She expressed her frustration, saying, “I really have acquaintances. I also have my supporters.”
She added, “If you see such posts, filter them out. It would be better to leave a comment on my YouTube. Then I will respond sincerely. The real facts should come from me, right? Now that I am a YouTuber, I think I should do a live session.”
Son Tae-young married fellow actor Kwon Sang-woo in 2008 and they have one son and one daughter.
