
Jang Hae-young, a member of the group Five, has passed away.
On the 10th, Five member Kim Hyun-soo announced Jang Hae-young's obituary on social media, saying, "Goodbye. Let's meet again in heaven and sing again." He was 45 years old.
It is reported that the deceased passed away after battling cancer.
Jang Hae-young majored in Korean dance at the Korea National University of Arts and debuted in 2002 as a member of Five.
Five debuted in 2022 and was loved for songs like 'Girl', 'I'm Sorry', and 'Ring'. Jang Hae-young also released a single titled 'Sorry for Being Ugly' in 2009 and worked as a solo artist.
In 2016, he appeared on JTBC's 'Two You Project - Sugar Man' and shared updates about his life. At that time, Jang Hae-young stated, "I am working as a freelancer in investment-related fields. I am also singing while participating in the project group EMP's featuring."
