The winners of the '16th Korea Drama Awards' will be revealed.
The '16th Korea Drama Awards' will take place on the 11th at 5 PM at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do.
The '16th Korea Drama Awards' is the main event of the '2025 Korea Drama Festival', honoring 92 dramas (with source data provided by FlexOn) aired on three major terrestrial networks, cable, general programming channels, and OTT platforms over the past year, along with their actors and production teams.
From August 28 to September 22, the organizing committee of the '16th Korea Drama Awards' conducted voting for 7 main categories including Best Drama, Best Newcomer (Male/Female), Best Actor (Male/Female), and Best Actress (Male/Female), as well as 6 popular categories including Hot Star Award (Male/Female), Popular Couple Award, Global Star Award, Multi-Entertainer Award, and BEST OST Award through the participatory fandom app 'CelebChamp' and the K-pop fandom platform 'My One Pick'.
In the Best Newcomer category, many rising stars who gained attention through dramas this year are nominated. The competition for Best Drama, Best Actor, and Best Actress is expected to be fierce, with representatives from major broadcasting companies and leading actors competing.
