Comedian Kim Dae-beom targeted a high school classmate who contacted him after 30 years to ask for money.
On the 9th, Kim Dae-beom posted on his SNS, “A friend who contacts me after 30 years to borrow money. Don’t smile in the future,” along with a screenshot of the message he received from his classmate.
In the screenshot, the classmate said to Kim Dae-beom, “It’s been a while. We are classmates. How have you been?” and then abruptly asked, “I need to borrow 3 million won. I will pay you back next week.”
When Kim Dae-beom responded, “Contacting after almost 30 years to ask for 300 is a bit much,” the classmate replied, “Didn’t I buy you udon at the school store? And comedians earn a lot of money, right? I heard you get 3 million won for each event. Please lend me some. I will have money coming in next week, so I can pay you back right away.”
When Kim Dae-beom said he also doesn’t have extra money due to the Chuseok holiday and that he would only have money coming in next week, the classmate replied, “Then just lend me some at that time. I can wait.”
When Kim Dae-beom questioned, “If you’re getting money next week, why are you borrowing money?” the classmate responded, “What the hell are you saying? I’m done. I’ve never laughed at you on TV. What kind of comedian are you? You’re such a disloyal person,” shocking him with insults.
