Broadcaster Park Na-rae has mentioned the theft incident.
On the 14th, Park Na-rae appeared as a guest on MBC Standard FM's 'Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio' (hereafter referred to as 'Sontra').
Park Na-rae was scheduled to appear on 'Sontra' last April, but her appearance was suddenly canceled due to an incident where valuables worth tens of millions of won were stolen from her home.
On that day, Park Na-rae stated regarding the incident, "The culprit has been caught, is currently on trial, and I have received everything back. I am so relieved."
Park Na-rae, who mentioned that she came out carrying the bag that was stolen during the incident, said, "It is a symbolic item for me," adding, "Didn’t it come back to me? That friend (the culprit) went around all the second-hand luxury shops in Gangnam. Just like a salmon returning to its hometown, it came back to me after going around and around."
She also shared, "On the day I was scheduled to appear live, I went to the police station for a witness investigation."
According to the police, the theft incident was identified as being committed by an outsider who broke in. The thief was an outsider with no prior acquaintance with Park Na-rae, and it was revealed that he had a history of similar offenses and was under investigation for other theft charges.
In 2021, Park Na-rae purchased a detached house in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul for about 5.5 billion won. He has been revealing the interior of his house through MBC's 'I Live Alone' and other programs.
