Actor Jin Tae-hyun shared an update after his thyroid cancer surgery.
On the 8th, Jin Tae-hyun posted on Instagram, "I have been busy preparing and training for next year's marathon competitions with my wife," along with a photo of him exercising with Park Si-eun.
Jin Tae-hyun expressed, "I am really upset that I couldn't do high-intensity training for three months due to the cancer surgery. I was so upset that I cried. I was more upset about not being able to challenge myself this year than about being sick. However, after the surgery, I have been able to get back into long-distance jogging and basic training, and my body has improved a lot," he revealed.
He added, "This year, I think I will only aim for record challenges in the 10km and half marathon," and stated, "I tried my best to recover my physical condition, but since thyroid cancer is still cancer, I need to take it slow."
Additionally, he mentioned, "I will do my best to manage my health with a weight under 66kg and a plant-based diet until next year's winter marathon," and added, "How beautiful it is to have goals in life. Start running."
Jin Tae-hyun underwent thyroid cancer surgery in June and is currently recovering. He married actress Park Si-eun in 2015. He is currently appearing on JTBC's 'Divorce Counseling Camp' and other shows.
