Seong-hoon, a former member of the group Brown Eyed Soul, expressed anger regarding the agency's statement about his departure from the team.
On the 7th, Seong-hoon posted on his Instagram account, "I read the longplay statement well. It says that I made personal attacks on some members and their families, so please detail what personal attacks I made," announcing his second statement.
He added, "I have endured all sorts of things for 20 years. Family? Do you think you are the only ones with family? Was my family not precious?" and stated, "If you come at me like that, I will also take all legal actions."
Seong-hoon wrote, "I also look forward to and respect the good performances and music of Brown Eyed Soul in the future, but to simply label the 20 years of hardship we shared as that of a psychopath, I will fight until the end for my honor."
Previously, Seong-hoon claimed through social media that he received an abrupt notice of his departure from the team while waiting for Naul's recovery from health issues. He also expressed displeasure over the release of a Brown Eyed Soul album featuring his voice after his departure.
In response, Longplay Music refuted that they ended the exclusive contract after discussions due to Seong-hoon's actions, which included sending aggressive messages to members and their families, as well as his mental health treatment.
Seong-hoon left Brown Eyed Soul in March 2023. After his departure, Brown Eyed Soul, now a trio (Naul, Young-jun, Jung-yeop), released their fifth studio album 'Soul Tricycle' on the 23rd of last month.
