The final members who will debut as the group Alpha Drive One have been revealed.
In the live broadcast of Mnet's ‘Boys Planet 2’ aired on the 25th, the formation of the debut team was depicted.
The debut group name revealed that day was ‘Alpha Drive One’. MC Kim Jae-joong explained, “It signifies an official team with the goal, passion, and drive to become the best. Please look forward to the growth and leap that the official group of ‘Boys Planet 2’ will create.”
The first person called as a member of Alpha Drive One was Jung Sang-hyun. Jung Sang-hyun received 3,862,466 points, finishing in 7th place and becoming the first member of Alpha Drive One.
Jung Sang-hyun said, “First of all, I didn’t expect this at all. I feel like I should say something, but words aren’t coming out well. I’m always lacking, and I’m really grateful that so many people like me for some reason. I will never forget this moment and will continue to move forward. Thank you.”
In 6th place was Lee Ri-o, who received 4,147,134 points. Lee Ri-o said, “I sincerely thank the star creators who supported me. It must not have been easy to cheer for me, but I will repay your love with wonderful activities as a proud member of Alpha Drive One.”
5th place went to Zhang Jiahao. Zhang Jiahao expressed, “Honestly, I don’t think I’m that lucky, so I never imagined I would receive such results. Since meeting you, it seems that luck has gradually come into my life. Thanks to that, I have been able to live a happier life day by day. I sincerely thank you.”
In 4th place was Kim Gun-woo, who received 4,854,331 points. Kim Gun-woo said, “This is a moment I have dreamed of for a long time while being a trainee. I had so many worries about whether I could debut at the finals. It’s an unexpected moment, so I’m a bit dazed.”
In 3rd place was Heo Sin-long. Heo Sin-long said, “I sincerely thank the star creators who have supported and loved me from the beginning until now. Thanks to you, I was able to stand on a wonderful stage and become a more loved person.”
As candidates for 1st place, Lee Sang-won and Jo Woo-an-shin appeared on the screen. The 1st place revealed amidst tension was Lee Sang-won, who had maintained 1st place since the first survival announcement.
Lee Sang-won said, “I think today will be an opportunity for me to cherish you more than myself. I am so happy because of you. Thank you so much.” He continued, “If it weren’t for the fans and star creators, I honestly wouldn’t be here. I participated in this broadcast thinking of you, and I really did my best. In my future life, and in the moments I have lived until now, I want to say that there has never been such a beautiful journey.”
Kim Jun-seo became the last debut member of Alpha Drive One, defeating Yoo Gang-min and Choi Rip-woo. Kim Jun-seo said, “Honestly, this challenge was scary, and I had more fear than excitement. I tried to think that I would be happy even if I got eliminated, but I am grateful for this gift of debut.”
