Former announcer and broadcaster Park Ji-yoon clarified misunderstandings related to her trademark registration and revealed her intentions.
On the 28th, Park Ji-yoon appeared in a video titled “Back for the hungry Crime Scene fans | It’s true I came to promote Crime Scene Zero | Netflix” posted on the YouTube channel 'Netflix Korea'.
On that day, Park Ji-yoon said, “When I was doing the JTBC program 'Sseoljeon', I was critiquing the female lead who was the embodiment of desire. The actress Soo-ae was the lead in the drama, and Kim Gu-ra said, ‘This woman is also a desire aunt,’” revealing the origin of the 'Desire Aunt' title.
She added, “I never thought I would become a 'Desire Aunt' from that one comment. So I feel that the power of the program and the words of the host are important.”

Afterward, Park Ji-yoon mentioned that the title 'Desire Aunt' started appearing in articles, and everyone began referring to her that way. She shared, “A friend of mine happened to go to a neighborhood and saw a place called ‘Desire Aunt Kimchi Stew’ and asked if it was her doing.”
She continued, “It could be a restaurant that was originally there, but I thought I could be misunderstood as if it were my restaurant, and I could get criticized for running a kimchi stew house,” explaining, “I registered the trademark not because I wanted to, but to prevent misunderstandings and misuse by others.”
She also requested, “I hope people remember that it was for ‘defensive purposes’.”
Park Ji-yoon is currently meeting viewers through the role-playing mystery entertainment show Netflix 'Crime Scene Zero', which premiered on the 23rd.
