A member of a famous Japanese idol group was arrested by the police for exposing his lower body in the middle of Shinjuku, Tokyo.
According to the Yomiuri Shimbun on the 4th (local time), the Yotsuya Police Station arrested Kusama Richard Keita (29) of the idol group Aぇ！group on charges of public indecency.
Kusama Richard Keita is accused of exposing his lower body near the entrance of a shopping building in Shinjuku around 5:40 AM on the 4th.
He was reportedly intoxicated at the time, and a passerby who witnessed the incident called the police, leading to his arrest.
His agency, STARTO Entertainment, announced on their official website, "We deeply apologize for causing concern," and stated that Kusama Richard Keita's activities would be suspended.
Meanwhile, Aぇ！group is a five-member boy group formed in 2019 and officially debuted in 2024.
