Singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri has challenged herself to make songpyeon for Chuseok.

On the 5th, Nam Gyu-ri posted a video titled 'Ep.15 Chuseok Special Sweet and Spicy Songpyeon Making Operation(?) | Have a Happy Chuseok' on her YouTube channel 'Gyu-mong'.

In this video, Nam Gyu-ri dressed beautifully in hanbok and said, "I hope you spend happy times with your family for Chuseok. Thanks to my subscribers, I feel a lot of happiness and joy. I hope you receive as much love as you give me, and I wish you a joyful and abundant Chuseok," before bowing deeply to her subscribers.

Previously, Nam Gyu-ri had announced the opening of 'Gyu Restaurant' to serve food she cooked as a promise to her subscribers, and this time she teamed up with Chef Park Jun-young to make songpyeon. They prepared various fillings including mugwort, sweet potato, pumpkin, rice flour dough, red bean, sesame, nuts, hotteok mix, and minced shrimp, making mouths water from the start.

Nam Gyu-ri revealed, "I haven't made songpyeon since elementary school," and struggled through the process. Despite the dough bursting and the filling spilling out, she managed to recover by tightly clenching her fists as she learned from her sister.

The songpyeon that Nam Gyu-ri completed with her fist (?) had a unique shape resembling a whale, which brought laughter, and Chef Park Jun-young couldn't hide his surprise, saying, "I've never seen songpyeon like this in my life."

The two burst into laughter at the unexpected taste during the tasting, and Nam Gyu-ri ended up shedding tears from laughing. Chef Park Jun-young particularly recommended, "The hotteok filling is a kick."

After finishing the songpyeon making, Nam Gyu-ri said, "I hope you spend happy times with your family this Chuseok and have a prosperous holiday," as she concluded her message.

Meanwhile, Nam Gyu-ri's YouTube channel, which she opened in June, has surpassed 30,000 subscribers, and she is preparing to open 'Gyu Restaurant' as a promise for reaching 10,000 subscribers. She plans to invite subscribers to serve them the dishes she made.
