As rumors of broadcaster Jeon Yoo-sung's critical condition have surfaced, the Korea Broadcasting Comedians Association reported on the situation of his hospital visit the previous day.
On the 25th, the Korea Broadcasting Comedians Association stated to Maeil Business Star Today, "Chairman Kim Hak-rae and other juniors visited the hospital where senior Jeon Yoo-sung was admitted the day before."
Jeon Yoo-sung is currently hospitalized due to difficulty in breathing caused by a pneumothorax.
The association explained, "He is currently undergoing treatment, and when Chairman Kim Hak-rae visited, he made light jokes and even laughed while watching the supportive video from his juniors."
Regarding reports that he left a will for his daughter, they stated, "It is true that there was a critical situation a few days ago, but afterwards, when he was in a clear state of mind, he called his daughter to discuss funeral arrangements."
As news of his health deterioration spread, comedians including Chairman Kim Hak-rae and Lee Hong-ryeol personally visited to show their support.

Regarding the association's message asking juniors to send get-well videos, they explained, "Many juniors who wish for his health are very busy with their schedules and couldn't come, so we collected the videos and delivered them," adding, "He was very pleased to see the videos."
Previously, in November last year, Jeon Yoo-sung appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee' and stated, "I've not been feeling well lately. I was hospitalized this year for three different illnesses: acute pneumonia, arrhythmia, and COVID-19." He also shared a photo from his hospital room on social media last month with the caption, "Temporarily closed for internal repairs," updating fans on his condition.
Debuting as a broadcasting writer in 1969, Jeon Yoo-sung has appeared in numerous programs such as 'Humor No. 1', 'Gag Concert', and 'Good Friends', receiving much love.
He is also known for being the first to use the term 'gagman' instead of 'comedian' in Korea, and he has contributed to the development of the Korean comedy scene by nurturing juniors.
