According to reports from the broadcasting industry on the 24th, Jeon Yoo-sung has recently been hospitalized for treatment due to a pneumothorax issue.
Initially, there were rumors that Jeon Yoo-sung was in critical condition, but it is now reported that he is recovering. In this regard, a representative from Jeon Yoo-sung's side stated, "He is currently receiving treatment and is conscious. However, he is hospitalized because it is difficult for him to breathe freely."
Last November, Jeon Yoo-sung appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee' and stated, "I've been feeling unwell lately. I was hospitalized this year for three different diagnoses: acute pneumonia, arrhythmia, and COVID-19."
He also shared an anecdote about being hurt by careless remarks, saying, "While I was in the hospital with pneumonia, more than half of the 10 visitors said, 'They say old people die from pneumonia.' Is that something to say to someone lying in bed with pneumonia?"
Additionally, last month, Jeon Yoo-sung posted a photo of his hospital room on social media with the caption, "Temporarily closed for internal repairs," updating his fans on his condition. It is known that he underwent a procedure for pneumothorax.
As a result, he was unable to participate in the 'Busan International Comedy Festival' held earlier this month. Jeon Yoo-sung was originally scheduled to participate in the sub-event 'Comedy Book Concert' alongside Lee Hong-ryeol and Jeong Seon-hee.
