The group SEVENTEEN will hold 'SEVENTEEN The City LA' in Los Angeles (LA) for the first time in about a year.
This event will be conducted on a larger scale through collaboration with global companies and local public institutions, providing fans with new experiences.
According to Pledis Entertainment and HYBE, 'SEVENTEEN The City LA' will take place from October 11 to 19 across LA. It is an event linked to the 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN U.S.' concert, which will be held at BMO Stadium on October 16 and 17. Fans can enjoy various programs such as SEVENTEEN-themed Airbnb original experiences, landmark collaborations, pop-up stores, and F&B before and after the concert.
In particular, a program has been prepared in collaboration with the global accommodation platform Airbnb, reinterpreting LA local experiences with a SEVENTEEN theme, including K-pop performance choreography experiences, K-beauty experiences, studio recording, DJing, pottery painting, cake making, and shirt decorating. Nearby restaurants will allow fans to enjoy SEVENTEEN's music and food while interacting.
Fans can also encounter SEVENTEEN throughout the city. Waymo will provide discount coupons for fans, and LA Metro will display 'SEVENTEEN The City LA' posters on 55 subway stations, a total of 157 digital screens and billboards. The Santa Monica Ferris Wheel will be illuminated in the shape of SEVENTEEN and the fandom CARAT logo for three days from the 15th to the 17th.
The pop-up store, which received a great response last year, will also be expanded. 'SEVENTEEN ON COMPLEX' will open in downtown West LA, providing a fan experience space with official merchandise sales and photo zones. Additionally, F&B brands such as Old Ferry Donut, Lady Gopchang, and It's Boba Time will offer SEVENTEEN collaboration menus and souvenirs.
A representative from Pledis Entertainment stated, "With SEVENTEEN's global influence, 'SEVENTEEN The City' held in the U.S. last year has returned this year with even richer programs," adding, "We hope fans enjoy a unique experience of both SEVENTEEN and the local community."
Before the LA concert, SEVENTEEN will kick off their tour at the Tacoma Dome on October 11, continuing to major U.S. cities such as Austin, Sunrise, and Washington D.C.
