The sensational giant ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade’ is making history with its third season.
tvN’s ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade 3 (Directed by Na Young-seok, Park Hyun-yong)’ features four heroes, Lee Eun-ji, Mimi, Lee Young-ji, and An Yu-jin, who unite to catch the moon rabbit that has escaped to Earth, embarking on a new concept hybrid multiverse action-adventure variety that transcends time and space. The new season of ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade’, which has recorded overwhelming popularity every season, is drawing attention.
Previously, ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade 2’ ranked first with a preference of 4% in the Korean Gallup survey of favorite broadcast video programs among Koreans released in June 2023. This was particularly significant as it marked the first time a women’s entertainment program topped the rankings since the survey began in 2013. Additionally, every episode ranked first in the target viewership ratings for men and women aged 20-49 during the same time slot, including cable and general programming channels, demonstrating its explosive popularity. In February, the ‘Earth Wizard’ video garnered a hot response, raising fans' expectations for ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade 3’. In this season, Lee Eun-ji, Mimi, Lee Young-ji, and An Yu-jin transform into secret agents, becoming determined to capture the rabbit that has run away with the Heavenly Emperor's corporate card, heightening the excitement.
The first teaser released hints at a concept reminiscent of a spy action movie. Starting with An Yu-jin, code-named ‘An Yu-myeong’, followed by Lee Eun-ji as ‘Lee Yong-soo’, Lee Young-ji as ‘Lee Young-cheol’, and Mimi as ‘Kim Mi-gwan’, the agents secretly move around Seoul, adding to the immersion.
In particular, when Lee Eun-ji, who smells flowers in Abu Dhabi, enters a situational comedy saying, “There’s poison in this,” An Yu-jin and Lee Young-ji, who are pleased with the sudden development, join in, causing laughter. Meanwhile, the agents tracking the rabbit in Lisbon discover the mysterious old man, PD Na Young-seok. The agents comment, “The visuals are too serious,” and “PD is really living hard,” while PD Na, true to his role, denies his identity, adding to the fun.
The main poster released alongside the first teaser video also catches the eye. It enhances the coolness by recreating the members' appearances as secret agents in pop art style. Each member's unique weapon (?), including a megaphone, camera, cellphone, and chocolate, filled with the determination to find the rabbit, adds personality, raising expectations for the agents' remarkable exploits.
Moreover, a visit to the shrouded Albufeira is also anticipated, as the secret agents Lee Eun-ji, Mimi, Lee Young-ji, and An Yu-jin prepare for their grand operation to catch the rabbit. tvN’s ‘Bbang Bbang Earth Arcade 3’ will premiere on Friday, the 25th, at 8:40 PM.
