Chuu shared her thoughts on her appearance in ‘My Girlfriend is a Manly Guy’.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, the online production presentation video for KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘My Girlfriend is a Manly Guy’ was released. Director Yoo Kwan-mo and actors Yoon San-ha, Arin, Yoo Jeong-hoo, and Chuu participated.
Chuu said, “The story was very fresh and engaging. I was really nervous since it’s been a long time since I challenged myself to act, but I thought it would be fun since the age group is similar.”
She continued, “I was curious about the process of falling in love in the drama and thought about what it would be like if I were Min-joo. I confidently took on the challenge because I really like the character.”
Chuu, who is challenging acting after 6 years, revealed, “I was nervous and excited to challenge acting again after 6 years. It’s my first time in a serious role, so I was very tense.”
Regarding her transformation into a college hot girl in this work, she joked, “The character itself is someone I wanted to be during my school days, and I found the idea of being a popular girl, a queen bee, very attractive.”
‘My Girlfriend is a Manly Guy’ is based on a Naver webtoon. It tells the story of a girlfriend, Kim Ji-eun (Arin), who suddenly becomes a flower boy overnight, and her boyfriend, Park Yoon-jae (Yoon San-ha), who cannot give up on such a girlfriend, unfolding a chaotic romance. It will premiere at 9:50 PM today.
