Broadcaster Kim Dae-hee shared a past story of how he helped evacuate his neighbors during an apartment fire.
On the 14th, a video titled “Watch Kim Dae-hee being criticized in front of you” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Jo Dongari’.
In the video, Kim Soo-yong mentioned Kim Dae-hee's past good deed, saying, “I saw on the news that he saved the people in the neighborhood.”
Kim Dae-hee explained the situation, saying, “Suddenly, there was a ‘bang’ from the apartment below, and smoke started rising,” and “I went down holding my first child’s hand while carrying the second and third.”
He added, “I was so flustered that I didn’t know what to do, but my wife calmly gave instructions,” saying, “You go upstairs, and I will contact from which floors to which floors via intercom.”
Kim Dae-hee's wife, a former flight attendant, was quick to respond in the crisis situation.

He recalled, “The sprinkler went off, and the fire was quickly extinguished in 5 to 10 minutes,” adding, “I called 119, but the fire was already completely out.”
Kim Dae-hee's good deed took place during an apartment fire incident in October 2016.
At that time, Kim Dae-hee, who was known for taking the initiative to help residents evacuate, stated through his agency, “It’s too trivial to call it a good deed, and I feel embarrassed and shy that it’s being known like this,” and added, “I’m glad the initial suppression was successful, but I felt sorry for waking people who were sleeping in the early morning.”
Kim Dae-hee married his wife, a flight attendant 6 years younger than him, in June 2006, and they have three daughters together.
