Actress Han Ji-eun is embroiled in controversy over allegations of animal abuse regarding her pet lizard.
On the 6th, she appeared on the MBC entertainment program 'The Manager's Perspective' and revealed her pet lizard.
Han Ji-eun showed affection by giving water to her pet lizard Moni and preparing food for it to eat. Moni caught attention with its notably small size.
Her manager stated, “I heard she started raising it through an acquaintance. I believe it is about 4-5 months old.” Han Ji-eun mentioned, “I can’t play with it for long. It’s sensitive to temperature, so it doesn’t match well with human warmth,” and sent the lizard back home.
While she appeared to show affection for her pet, after the broadcast, netizens raised suspicions that Han Ji-eun might be abusing the animal. They pointed out that the pet lizard looked so emaciated that only its bones were visible.
