Stylist Seo Soo-kyung paid tribute to the late Daedo Library while accompanying him on his final journey.
On the 9th, Seo Soo-kyung posted on her Instagram, “Our Daedo oppa, who left after a glamorous and lively four-day funeral,” adding, “Not long ago, he made an eagle by sinking a long putt at Won-on in Par 4 and even paid the bill at a gathering at a semi-tuna restaurant.”
She continued, “The recipe for the spicy soybean paste stew he loved was completed, and now we decided to take responsibility for it. He always worked during the day and broadcasted in the evening, but we often went out together, enjoyed good wine, and cooked delicious home meals together. He was always bright and kind to everyone,” reminiscing about her memories with the deceased.
She added, “When the two of us got together, the audio was never empty. Why did we not chat in our group chat for just two days when everyone was busy?” and expressed, “Our oppa still had so many things he wanted to do and enjoy. He is now joyfully playing in a beautiful outfit adorned with white and gold embroidery.”
Stylist Seo Soo-kyung conveyed her condolences, saying, “Still, I have said all the things oppa wanted to say, the things he wanted to boast about. I will continue to speak on his behalf. Rest peacefully... until we meet again.”
The released photo included the portrait of the deceased.
Netizens reacted to Seo Soo-kyung's post with comments like “May the deceased rest in peace,” “At least he didn’t leave feeling lonely, right? I feel relieved knowing it was lively,” “Thank you for showing us Daedo's last appearance,” and “I’m so sad,” as they joined in mourning the deceased.
Daedo Library was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 6th. He was 46 years old.
According to the police, no suicide note or signs of foul play were found at the scene, and the initial verbal report from the National Forensic Service indicated that there were no signs of homicide or criminal activity.
On the morning of the 9th, the deceased's funeral ceremony was held. His younger sister and ex-wife Yumdaeng (real name Lee Chae-won) were listed as the bereaved family. The deceased will be laid to rest at the Beomeosa Temple on Manwolsan after passing through the Seoul City Crematorium.
