Director Yeon Sang-ho of 'Train to Busan' has become the new owner of actor Jo Jung-seok's 11 billion won building in Daechi-dong.

According to the Supreme Court registry office on the 9th, it has been confirmed that the owner of the Daechi-dong building, which Jo Jung-seok sold for 11 billion won, is Director Yeon Sang-ho.

The building is located near the Eunma Apartment intersection, adjacent to the Daechi-dong academy area. It has a land area of 224.6㎡ (67.94 pyeong) and a total floor area of 710.71㎡ (214.98 pyeong), with 1 basement level and 6 above-ground floors, currently fully leased to an English academy.

Jo Jung-seok purchased the site in 2018 for 3.9 billion won under the name of his agency, JS Company, and built a new building in 2020, selling it to Director Yeon Sang-ho for 11 billion won. He made a profit of 7.1 billion won after 7 years.

Director Yeon Sang-ho, who achieved box office success with 'Train to Busan' surpassing 10 million viewers, will be returning to audiences with the film 'Face,' which is set to be released on the 11th.
