Musical actress Ok Joo-hyun, a former member of Fin.K.L, shared the story of how she was called "arrogant" by her senior, Patti Kim.
On the 8th, during Channel A's entertainment show 'Close Friends Documentary: 4-Person Table', Ok Joo-hyun invited singers Tae and Lee Ji-hye to chat with MC Park Kyung-rim. During this time, Park Kyung-rim asked, "Didn’t Teacher Patti Kim once say that Ok Joo-hyun was arrogant?"
Previously, Patti Kim appeared on Ok Joo-hyun's YouTube channel and stated, "The arrogant and stubborn parts of you are just like me. That's why your attitude towards the stage is similar." Ok Joo-hyun recounted, "During my Fin.K.L days, while the other members finished rehearsals in 10 minutes, I took an hour. The music show director asked, 'Can’t you do it moderately?' and I replied, 'How can you do a stage moderately?'" Patti Kim then laughed and said, "You're just like me. That's why you get called arrogant."
Ok Joo-hyun also revealed a 'dark history' from her Fin.K.L debut days. She said, "We completely failed to perform our debut song 'Blue Rain' live from the first stage," and added, "We quickly changed our promotional song to 'To My Boyfriend', but in fact, all the members said they absolutely did not want to do that song." However, this song quickly brought Fin.K.L to the top and became the group's signature song.
She also reminisced about the outfits from that time. Ok Joo-hyun said, "My outfit had a backpack attached, and Sung Yu-ri wore something like knee warmers. It was really funny to think that we had to go to the airport dressed like that," and smiled.
