Actress Lee Young-ae shared updates about her 15-year-old daughter.
On the 8th, Lee Young-ae appeared as a guest alongside actors Kim Young-kwang and Park Yong-woo on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yeob'.
Lee Young-ae, who married a Korean-American businessman 20 years her senior in 2009, welcomed twins in 2011.
Currently revealing that her twins are 15 years old, Lee Young-ae said, "My son and daughter are different. My daughter is more like me, and my son is more like his dad," adding, "My daughter is very interested in becoming an idol and is constantly going to auditions."
She continued, "I just let her be. If I stop her, I’ll hear later, 'I couldn’t do it because of my mom'."
When Shin Dong-yeob mentioned that Lee Young-ae likes the group BTS, saying, "Isn't it because she grew up watching them since she was little?" Lee Young-ae replied, "My daughter also likes Tomorrow X Together and Boy Next Door, so I took her to see them recently."
Lee Young-ae also expressed concern, saying, "On one hand, I think she might be taking becoming a celebrity too lightly. When she looks at me, she only sees the good side and doesn’t see the struggles I went through to get here. She only sees the glamorous side."
Meanwhile, Lee Young-ae will appear in the KBS2 weekend drama 'Eun-soo's Good Day', which premieres on the 20th at 9:20 PM.
'Eun-soo's Good Day' depicts the dangerous and desperate partnership of a parent, Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae), who wants to protect her family, and a two-faced teacher, Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang), who accidentally comes into possession of a bag of drugs.
