Former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin is currently conducting a large-scale lawsuit against online trolls.

According to an online entertainment media Dispatch on the 10th, the former CEO has appointed a lawyer known as an expert in suing trolls as her legal representative and has begun legal action.

According to reports, the former CEO has collected comments containing insults from articles and has sent a lawsuit claiming damages of 3 to 4 million won.

The complaint states, "The defendants' writings publicly insult the plaintiff (former CEO Min Hee-jin), infringe upon the plaintiff's personal rights, and seriously damage the plaintiff's credit and social reputation," adding, "The writings have not been deleted and remain posted. Therefore, the defendants have an obligation to compensate the plaintiff for the mental suffering caused by their illegal acts."

Additionally, it mentions, "The plaintiff is willing to settle this matter amicably and is open to discussions for a smooth settlement if the defendants contact her by phone."

In relation to this, one of the defendants, Mr. A, stated, "The settlement starts at a minimum of 2 million won. They say they won't settle for less," adding, "There are people who settled to avoid police investigation."

Meanwhile, last month, the Seoul Western District Court Civil Division 3 (Judge Yoo Dong-kyun) acknowledged the lawsuit filed by the former CEO against three trolls, ordering one of them to pay 300,000 won in damages, while dismissing the claims against the other two.

In March, the former CEO also filed for damages against trolls and won some of the case. At that time, the court ordered the trolls to compensate the former CEO between 50,000 to 100,000 won each.
