Ayumi (41), former member of the girl group Sugar, has unexpectedly announced her plans for a second child.
On the special episode for older mothers of MBN's 'Let's Go GO' Season 5 (hereafter 'Let's Go'), which aired on the 6th, Ayumi declared, “I will start trying for a second child next month.”
Ayumi married a businessman who is two years older than her in 2022 and gave birth to a daughter in June of last year. She confessed, “The second child came as a gift,” and added, “As I get older, I started to think that I might not be able to have more children. I had a prenatal check-up, and my ovarian age came out higher than my actual age. So, I decided to freeze my eggs.”
She continued, “I still have 6 frozen eggs. Maybe because I’ve been exercising on a soccer variety show, it naturally came to me,” and stated, “I am currently preparing for a second child.”
Additionally, she revealed, “I plan to start right away next month. I’m considering meeting the frozen eggs.”
