Ayumi, a former member of the group Sugar, and singer Son Dam-bi reveal the fateful story of their first meeting with their husbands.
In the second preview video of episode 10 of season 5 of MBN's 'Let's Go' airing on the 6th, Ayumi and Son Dam-bi share honest stories about marriage.
MC Ahn Jung-hwan asked Ayumi, "How did you meet your husband?" to which Ayumi replied, "We met through a blind date. A member of Sugar had a baby shower and said, 'If you don't have a boyfriend, I'll introduce you.' That person is now my husband."
Ayumi continued, "When we first met, it was so much fun, and we clicked well. So we drank three bottles of wine on our first meeting," adding, "There was a comfort as if we had known each other for a long time. From that day on, we met every day, and naturally, we talked about how, since we were older, we should meet with the intention of marriage. If that wasn't the case, we should break up now to avoid wasting time." They confirmed their feelings for each other and got married six months later.
Son Dam-bi shared, "I first met my husband on a variety show 10 years ago. We dated for over a year and broke up, but miraculously met again 10 years later." She added, "On my birthday, a close sister asked, 'Do you want to meet your ex-boyfriend after a long time?' and took me to my husband's store. The moment I saw him, I felt, 'I will marry this person,' revealing the fateful encounter that led to their marriage.
After hearing Son Dam-bi's story, Jay Seon empathized, "I also felt that I would marry Hyun-hee," but Ahn Jung-hwan remarked, "I also married for love, but saying 'I will marry this person' the moment we met is all a lie," causing laughter.
