Broadcaster Ji Seok-jin revealed his special connection with Go Woorim from the crossover group Forestella.
On the 29th of last month, a video titled “You guys… were funny? The entertainment debut of the top stars in the country” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Easy World’.
In the video, Go Woorim shared his love story with former Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kim Yuna and details about their newlywed life.
Among these, the special connection between Go Woorim, who enlisted after getting married, and Ji Seok-jin was also mentioned.
The members of Forestella mentioned to Ji Seok-jin, “Your son was (Woorim's) military buddy,” to which Ji Seok-jin replied, “That's right. So I saw him at the graduation ceremony. I also saw Yuna.”
Go Woorim said, “We are sending our sons to the military at the same time,” and Ji Seok-jin smiled and agreed, “That's true.”
Ji Seok-jin mentioned that he recently met Kim Yuna, saying, “She said she is free, but her husband is busy,” and Go Woorim added, “These days, it’s time to run again.”

Meanwhile, Go Woorim, who married Kim Yuna after a three-year relationship in 2022, enlisted in the Army Military Band in November 2023 and completed his service in May.
Forestella, to which Go Woorim belongs, completed their national tour with a performance in Daegu on the 24th of last month and will hold an encore performance at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul on the 13th and 14th of this month.
