Kim Kyu-bin of the group Zero Base One has apologized to the fans, known as Zeroes.
On the afternoon of the 10th, Kim Kyu-bin expressed, "I am really sorry for upsetting you a lot because of what I said during the shoot today. Unintentionally, I compared saying thank you to a concert. It was absolutely a behavior I should not have done, and I was short-sighted," bowing his head.
He continued, "Fans are truly invaluable to me and cannot be compared to anyone else. I felt this more deeply through this incident, and I will not repeat such mistakes. I am really sorry for hurting you."
On that day, Zero Base One was reported to have visited a school for the filming of 'School Attack.' 'School Attack' is a program where popular idol groups surprise students by visiting their schools for communication.
During this visit, Kim Kyu-bin reportedly said, "The sound is louder than a concert" to express his gratitude for the loud cheers from the students present. This remark later spread on social media, and Zero Base One fans pointed out that it was a careless comment that did not consider existing fans.
In response, Kim Kyu-bin immediately conveyed his apology and comforted the fans.
Zero Base One, a project group formed through Mnet's 'Boys Planet,' officially debuted in July 2023. They are set to release their new mini-album 'Blue Paradise' on the 24th.
