A Chinese woman who attempted to break into the home of BTS member Jungkook has been handed over to the prosecution, and now a 40-year-old Korean woman has been arrested by the police and is under investigation.
According to MBN on the 31st, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested a woman identified as A on the spot for trespassing.
A is suspected of breaking into Jungkook's home parking lot in Yongsan, Seoul, around 11:20 PM on the 30th.
It is reported that A followed a vehicle entering the parking lot, and a security guard who was checking the CCTV discovered this and reported it to the police.
At the time of her arrest, A reportedly mumbled to the police that she "went in because it was a friend's house," and the police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
Previously, the Yongsan Police had stated that a 30-year-old Chinese woman, identified as B, was also sent to the prosecution without detention for attempted trespassing on the 27th.
B attempted to break into Jungkook's residence by repeatedly entering the front door password after visiting the location on June 11th, shortly after 11 PM.
This day was the day Jungkook was discharged from the military, and many fans were outraged as it was not only illegal but also showed a lack of consideration for Jungkook, who had just returned home.
Additionally, during his military service, Jungkook became a target of a hacking organization led by a Chinese national, resulting in the theft of stocks worth 8.4 billion won from HYBE, although he avoided actual damage due to a payment suspension. The mastermind, identified as Jeon Mo (35), who was captured in Thailand and repatriated, has been handed over to the prosecution on the 29th.
In another incident involving BTS member Jin, he was unexpectedly kissed on the cheek by a 50-year-old Japanese woman during a fan "hug event" shortly after his discharge last June. Following a report from an internet user, the police sent this Japanese woman to the prosecution for violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act regarding acts in crowded places.
