Actor Park Seong-hoon has revealed a photoshoot and interview with Marie Claire Korea.

This photoshoot, conducted under the subtitle ‘Silent Portrait’, captures how Park Seong-hoon is living in the present moment and the path he is taking as an actor, all within a simple yet intense imagery.

Park Seong-hoon exuded deep charm while transitioning between a restrained black-and-white mood and a sensual concept. In a calm and serene atmosphere, he showcased a free-spirited appeal with casual t-shirts and denim styling. This photoshoot and interview particularly reflect Park Seong-hoon’s honest journey as an actor and his future direction.

In the accompanying interview, he shared his experience of being loved as ‘Hyun-joo’ in the global hit ‘Squid Game’ Season 3, saying, “It feels like I briefly dreamed a big dream and woke up. I feel grateful every time someone recognizes me overseas,” while also noting, “My daily life hasn’t changed much. Right now, I’m focusing on a new project.”

Regarding his growth as an actor, Park Seong-hoon stated, “Through the process of understanding and empathizing with characters different from myself, my capacity for acceptance has broadened,” adding, “The points that are not clearly defined actually create flexibility as an actor.” He expressed his motivation for acting, saying, “I felt like I wasn’t good at anything, so I worked harder, and now I love acting so much,” and shared, “The catharsis felt in moments when everyone on set holds their breath and focuses is immense.”

He continued, “Even if it’s slow, I want to grow steadily and solidly. I believe that an actor is someone who learns until they die,” expressing his aspirations for the future.

Meanwhile, Park Seong-hoon is continuing to film the new JTBC drama ‘Efficient Meetings of Unmarried Men and Women’.
