Broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil revealed a story about being hospitalized due to her ex-husband's assault.

On the 25th, in the Channel A program 'Best Friends Documentary - Four-Person Dining Table' (hereafter 'Four-Person Dining Table'), Lee Kyung-sil appeared and was seen having a conversation with her close friends, culinary researcher Lee Bo-eun and comedian Lee Soo-ji.

On that day, Lee Kyung-sil chose her sister-in-law as the person she misses the most. She explained, "I attended college while living at my brother's house. I lived there before my first marriage, and my sister-in-law accepted me."

At that time, Lee Kyung-sil thought it was natural to live there since it was her brother's house. However, after getting married, she confessed, "I realized that adding one more spoon to the table is not a trivial matter."

She shared that her sister-in-law was always proud of her, recalling, "When the drum washing machine first came out, I bought it for her. She bragged about it from the entrance where the washing machine came in. I thought, 'What should I buy next?'"

Lee Kyung-sil then mentioned her first divorce, recalling the time she was hospitalized, saying, "There was an incident. So I was hospitalized. I was on an oxygen respirator," and added, "It was a very sad situation, but my sister-in-law is such a great cook. She brought food, and even in that sad situation, it was so delicious."

She continued, "I was eating delicious food while a lot of reporters were outside. It was the day my life was ending, but the food my sister-in-law made was so good," and shared a bittersweet story, saying, "Later, she told me, 'Aunt, you should stop eating now.'"

Lee Kyung-sil's sister-in-law passed away from cancer in 2007, the year Lee Kyung-sil remarried.

Lee Kyung-sil expressed her longing, saying, "When I was remarrying, my sister-in-law held my hand tightly and said, 'Aunt, I think I can go lightly now. I'm so happy to marry a good person,' and I can't forget that face."

Lee Kyung-sil married her ex-husband in 1992 and had one son and one daughter, but they divorced in 2003. At that time, she was assaulted by her ex-husband, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison, with a 3-year probation and 400 hours of community service for the assault.

Afterward, Lee Kyung-sil remarried a businessman in 2007, stating that she did not register the marriage.
