Actor Jin Tae-hyun revealed the name and face of his adopted marathon daughter and urged interest in track athletes.
On the 24th, Jin Tae-hyun posted a lengthy message on his Instagram, starting with, "In summer and winter, we stay in Daegwallyeong and Jeju."
He continued, "The bonus of traveling is that I can spend time with our adopted daughter, who is training as a marathon athlete at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office," adding, "It's already been almost a year since we became a family, sharing meals and taking care of each other."
He mentioned that he spent time with his adopted daughter at a training camp in Hoenggye, Gangwon-do this summer, saying, "I am just grateful for a life where we can give interest and love to someone and share together," and expressed his hopes for his daughter to become a more disciplined and outstanding marathoner.

Jin Tae-hyun and his wife Park Si-eun are also ambassadors for the Gyeonggi Provincial Office. He remarked, "It's quite amazing that our adopted daughter is a marathon athlete for the Gyeonggi Provincial Office," and added, "I plan to support her until her retirement. Please cheer for her and support Korean track athletes."
He also shared that he often sees athletes secretly crying or struggling during training, which reminds him of his days as a supporting actor, saying, "They need to experience challenges to grow, but if you show a little more interest, I believe we will have many wonderful 'real' track stars in our country."
Recently, Jin Tae-hyun, who announced his full recovery after thyroid cancer surgery, stated, "My body is still recovering after the surgery," and expressed his desire to fully recover soon to love his wife more, work hard on filming, and run beautifully in the 4-minute range again.
Along with the text, Jin Tae-hyun also posted photos of moments spent with his wife Park Si-eun and their adopted daughter.
Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun got married in 2015 and announced the adoption of their first daughter in 2019.
Earlier this year, they revealed, "We have wonderful adopted daughters," stating, "One is an elite marathon athlete affiliated with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office, and the other is a prospective nurse preparing to work in Jeju."
