Kang Won-rae from the group Clon has obtained a PhD.

On the 23rd, Kang Won-rae posted several photos on his Instagram with the caption, "I am now Dr. Dance, Dr. Kang."

The published photos show Kang Won-rae receiving his PhD in Youth Guidance Studies from Myongji University on the 19th, along with images of his diploma and thesis.

In particular, Kang Won-rae is seen smiling brightly while wearing a graduation gown.

Kang Won-rae completed the PhD program in Youth Guidance Studies at Myongji University and submitted a thesis titled 'Problems and Improvement Measures of the K-pop Idol Trainee Training System' to ultimately receive his doctorate.

Notably, for his thesis, Kang Won-rae selected 12 research participants, including 9 former and current trainees and 3 K-pop planners, and conducted in-depth interviews.

Kang Won-rae debuted in 1996 as part of Clon and gained popularity with hit songs like 'Kung Tali Shabara' and 'Choryeon.'

After being diagnosed with lower body paralysis due to a traffic accident while riding a motorcycle in 2000, he dedicated himself to studying, which he couldn't complete during his Clon days.

He married Kim Song, a former member of the group Cola, in 2003, and they have one son together.
