The published photos show Kang Won-rae receiving his PhD in Youth Guidance Studies from Myongji University on the 19th, along with images of his diploma and thesis.
In particular, Kang Won-rae is seen smiling brightly while wearing a graduation gown.
Kang Won-rae completed the PhD program in Youth Guidance Studies at Myongji University and submitted a thesis titled 'Problems and Improvement Measures of the K-pop Idol Trainee Training System' to ultimately receive his doctorate.
Notably, for his thesis, Kang Won-rae selected 12 research participants, including 9 former and current trainees and 3 K-pop planners, and conducted in-depth interviews.
Kang Won-rae debuted in 1996 as part of Clon and gained popularity with hit songs like 'Kung Tali Shabara' and 'Choryeon.'
After being diagnosed with lower body paralysis due to a traffic accident while riding a motorcycle in 2000, he dedicated himself to studying, which he couldn't complete during his Clon days.
