Former announcer and broadcaster Kim Min-ji revealed an incident that made her husband Park Ji-sung angry.
The couple Park Ji-sung and Kim Min-ji recently appeared as guests on SBS's 'Bae Seung-jae's Ten' (hereafter 'Bae Ten').
Bae Seung-jae mentioned that the couple is rumored to have hardly fought in 11 years. To this, Park Ji-sung replied, “There’s really nothing to fight about.” Kim Min-ji then asked, “These days, it’s even more so. Isn’t fighting about getting heated and exchanging words?”
Bae Seung-jae joked, “Even if one side is unilaterally hitting, that’s a fight.” Hearing this, Kim Min-ji explained, “We have a lot of disagreements. When I wake up in the morning and say, ‘I can sleep a little longer,’ my husband says, ‘No, you need to get up now.’ We have disagreements the moment we open our eyes, but it doesn’t really escalate into a fight.”
Kim Min-ji, who stated that they hardly raise their voices at each other, shared the secret to their lack of fights: “We are so different that what bothers me is completely fine for my husband. And what bothers my husband is not important to me.”
However, Kim Min-ji revealed that she recently raised her voice with her husband Park Ji-sung over a bathroom issue.
Kim Min-ji said, “Park Ji-sung really doesn’t get angry. He hardly raises his voice, but recently he watched a video about how men use the bathroom and expressed a new opinion. Since we have a son, I suggested we set some rules to make bathroom management easier before habits are formed, but my husband looked serious. It was the first time I saw that expression on him, and none of you have seen that expression on him either,” she confessed.
She continued, “My husband, with a serious face, said he would use the bathroom alone. He said he would manage it himself and not to tell him how to solve it, with a face that looked like his dignity was being violated, which made me laugh. I never thought he would get this angry, so I told him to just do it as he always has, but he seemed still upset, huffing and puffing, shaking his shoulders as he calmed down.”
Kim Min-ji, a former SBS announcer, married soccer player Park Ji-sung in 2014 and they have a son and a daughter.
