Actress Choi Yeo-jin clarified rumors surrounding her husband.
On the 13th, a video titled ‘Affair, Cult, Dating a Biological Sibling? Ending the Rumors’ was posted on the YouTube channel ‘This is the Real Final’.
On that day, Choi Yeo-jin opened up about the rumors regarding her husband, saying, "I found it very amusing how absurd rumors and speculations were born. It was so ridiculous."
Choi Yeo-jin stated, "The most ridiculous one was the religious cult rumor. At first, there was talk that '(my husband) is a cult leader.' This rumor arose because the name of the company my husband runs is 'Club Eden Co., Ltd.' There are so many places in Korea with the name 'Eden,' so does that mean all those people are part of the Eden religion?"
She continued, "As it grew and spread absurdly, I received contact from the religious side. They said, 'Please deny it. We are suffering too much damage.'"
Additionally, Choi Yeo-jin mentioned, "There was also a rumor that '(my husband) is the illegitimate child of a group chairman.' I found out that this rumor started when a friend jokingly said during another content appearance, 'I heard half of the land in Gapyeong belongs to your brother.' Since there is a lot of religious land in Gapyeong, the chaebol rumor emerged from there."
She added, "On one hand, I kind of hope that rumor is true. If it were true, my husband would have promised to buy me designer bags and cars," which brought laughter.
