Musical actor Jeon Ho-jun has announced his return to activities, saying, “I cautiously come back” after a 4-month hiatus due to personal life controversies.
On the 11th, Jeon Ho-jun stated on his SNS, “A major incident occurred to me, who had never even thought of myself as a public figure. Since then, I have stopped using Instagram,” and added, “I am currently going through legal proceedings. If there are any mistakes on my part, I will definitely take responsibility.”
He also mentioned, “Since I have to live my life as well, I cautiously return here. I would like to thank those who have believed in and supported me once again. I will try to live diligently and sincerely.”
Debuting in the 2007 musical ‘Notre Dame de Paris’, he has performed on stage through various works such as ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Wicked’, ‘Chicago’, and ‘Kinky Boots’. He gained public recognition by appearing in JTBC’s ‘Phantom Singer 4’ aired in 2023, but suspended his activities due to personal life controversies. On April 24, his ex-partner A posted a revealing message on SNS, leading to allegations of assault.
At that time, Jeon Ho-jun refuted, saying, “It was a physical clash that occurred inevitably while trying to stop someone who illegally entered my home,” claiming “self-defense.”
He continued, “I never assaulted A. A revealed photos of injuries claiming they were caused by me, but I am not a man who assaults women. I have lived my life without even imagining causing harm to anyone.”
However, he ultimately voluntarily withdrew from the play ‘The Tonight Show’ in which he was scheduled to appear.
