However, the suspect Seo Eun-woo (formerly Seo Min-jae) has continuously posted defamatory content on social media that is completely different from the facts, and sensational reports based on this have indiscriminately spread, significantly damaging the reputation and dignity of victim A."
They continued, "Contrary to the claims of the suspect Seo Eun-woo, victim A has not disappeared at all and has consistently stated that he will fulfill his legal responsibilities regarding the child, and has never evaded this," adding, "The suspect Seo Eun-woo has repeatedly posted sensitive personal information and photos of victim A on social media, linking them to false facts, and has maintained these despite recommendations from investigative agencies to delete them."
They further stated, "Our law firm has initiated formal criminal proceedings regarding the series of illegal acts committed by the suspect Seo Eun-woo, and the police have forwarded charges against the suspect for violations of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation by false facts), threats, illegal confinement, and violations of the Stalking Punishment Act (including violations of provisional measures) to the prosecution. Additionally, the court has made a provisional measure decision to protect victim A during the investigation process, and this decision remains in effect to this day."
Moreover, "As a result of this incident, victim A is suffering from severe mental and social damage to the extent that daily life is impossible," and emphasized, "We will immediately take all possible legal actions, including a 'request for an injunction against posting' for all false posts created and disseminated by the suspect Seo Eun-woo, and a 'claim for damages' for the suspect's illegal acts, and we will hold the suspect accountable for any additional damages that may arise in the future."
Previously, Seo Min-jae announced that she was pregnant while in a relationship with A. She later revealed that communication with A had been cut off, posting A's personal information and photos on her social media, and showing unstable behavior by capturing a phone screen that read 'will' (유서). She has continued to post targeting A.
