On the 5th, Lee Min was found dead at her home at the age of 46. According to As One's agency, Brand New Music, Crystal immediately set off for Korea upon hearing the sad news from her residence in the United States. Upon arriving in Korea on the morning of the 7th, she headed straight to the funeral hall No. 1 at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, where the deceased was laid to rest.
The two met as high school students in the United States, became friends, formed a duo, and debuted as the group As One in 1999. Crystal, who rushed to be by her friend's side for the last journey after over 30 years of friendship, plans to stay with the deceased not only during the funeral scheduled for 5:30 AM on the 9th but also until the burial. It is reported that she has also chosen accommodation near the funeral home in Korea.
As One gained popularity with songs like "I Want and I Regret," "Day by Day," and "Not at All." They resumed their musical activities with the single "Try Hard" to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2020 and released the single "Happy Birthday" last June.
