Annie from the group All Day Project shared the reactions she received when she dreamed of becoming a singer.
On the 5th, Annie and Tarzan appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Theo’ in ‘Salon Drip 2’.
On that day, Annie said, “Whenever songs from 2NE1 or Big Bang came on, I had to try to follow along. It started when ‘Lollipop’ came out. And I always had to do the CL part. So I would give my younger sibling chocolate to memorize the parts of the other members,” which brought laughter.
When Jang Do-yeon asked, “Did you hear a lot of nagging from your parents?” Annie replied, “They said it was too noisy when I practiced singing or dancing at home. They said, ‘If you had worked this hard on something else, you would have built a house by now.’”
When Annie said, “They didn’t take me seriously when I first said I wanted to be a singer,” Jang Do-yeon responded, “They probably thought, ‘This is just a phase,’ or ‘You’re just infatuated.’” To this, Annie expressed, “That was exactly it. They thought I was just infatuated. So I really hate that word. Whenever I said I wanted to be a singer, I heard ‘You’re just infatuated’ way too often.”
