Actor Lee Jong-hyuk paid tribute to the late Song Young-kyu.
On the 5th, Lee Jong-hyuk posted a photo of himself visiting the late Song Young-kyu's mortuary on his Instagram, along with the caption, “It’s so absurd. Did you really hate the world so much? I’m disappointed because you were weak. I really didn’t expect you to do this.”
He continued, “You used to take care of me... Rest well, my senior from the Seoul Arts College Theater Class of '89... You said you were good at golf, but you couldn’t beat me, and now we have to play again... We had made a promise.”
Song Young-kyu was found dead on the morning of the 4th in Cheoin-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. He was 55 years old.
The late actor's mortuary has been set up at the special room 1 of Davos Hospital Funeral Home in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, and the funeral will be held on the 6th at 7:30 AM.
Actors Song Il-gook, Jo Woo-jin, Jung Sung-il, Lee Kyu-hyung, Choi Won-young, musical actor Seo Bum-seok, singer Kim Chang-yeol, Lee Jang-woo, and Seong Eun are reported to have sent wreaths to mourn the deceased.
Song Young-kyu debuted in 1994 with the musical 'Mertel Dosa' and has since appeared in films such as 'Extreme Job' and dramas like 'Stove League', 'Suriname', and 'Casino'.
