
Comedian Yoo Jae-suk has made a donation for the victims of the flood.
According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association on the 18th, Yoo Jae-suk donated 50 million won to help those affected by the heavy rain.
Through Hope Bridge, Yoo Jae-suk stated, "My heart is heavy with the unfortunate news of those who have suffered due to the heavy rainfall," and added, "I hope the damage does not worsen."
Yoo Jae-suk has consistently practiced sharing. He has donated to affected areas whenever disasters such as wildfires, floods, and earthquakes occur. In March, during the wildfire damage in Gyeongsang-do, he also donated 50 million won. He has donated a total of 1.1 billion won through Hope Bridge.
Last month, he also provided 50 million won in support for adolescent girls in health and hygiene blind spots through the international development cooperation NGO, G Foundation.
Meanwhile, due to the heavy rainfall that has poured across the country, four people have died and one is missing, resulting in human casualties. Additionally, there have been reports of flooded roads and farmland, as well as disruptions in transportation.
