Actor Kim Young-kwang revealed the reason he doesn't use a stunt double.
On the 15th, Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang appeared on the YouTube channel 'Theo' in 'Salon Drip 2'.
On that day, Jang Do-yeon asked, "Don't you have the image of being actors who are good at action, like Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang? Is there a driving force that makes you do difficult action scenes?"
Kim Nam-gil replied, "There are parts where we need to use a stunt double, but sometimes martial arts director Heo Myung-haeng scratches his head. When he asks, 'Can you do it?' I think for about 2-3 seconds. It's dangerous and difficult. If I'm still thinking, he says, 'I understand. I'll use a stunt double.' If I haven't answered yet, he says, 'I'll use a stunt double. Take a break.' It gets really intense sometimes. Sometimes, he exaggerates it a bit. Then, it gives me motivation."
On the other hand, Kim Young-kwang said, "I don't have many stunt doubles," which piqued curiosity. Kim Nam-gil explained, "There aren't any stunt doubles that fit Kim Young-kwang. He's tall and has a good build, so if someone else does it, it feels so obvious that 'that's a stunt double.'" Kim Young-kwang added, "In any case, I end up doing almost all of it."
