Fitness trainer and broadcaster Yang Chi-seung is closing his gym due to being a victim of fraud.

On the 15th, Yang Chi-seung posted on his social media, "We will end operations on July 25," and added, "We are processing refunds for members, but if your phone number has changed or you haven't received a message, please call us to proceed with the refund."

He also stated, "I hope you receive your refund by July 24," and expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported him during this time.

Previously, Yang Chi-seung confessed to being a victim of a 500 million won jeonse fraud while appearing on Channel A's 'Four-Person Table.' At that time, he said, "I had heard of jeonse fraud, but I never thought I would be a victim," explaining that he had known the building landlord for a long time and even the landlord's son had worked at the gym he operated, making it hard for him to suspect anything.

In particular, Yang Chi-seung mentioned that he had set aside refund money for his members, stating, "Even if I close the gym, the members should not suffer any losses."

Later, on KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything,' it was reported that "the landlord had no fraudulent intent from the beginning, and due to lack of funds, the case was processed as non-indictable," which evoked sympathy.
